Trisha Velarmino

Trisha moved to Mexico in 2018 with the hopes of backpacking for 6 months. Fast forward to 2020, she got a 4-year residency visa in Mexico and decided to stay. She lived in Sayulita, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, and now call Baja California Sur home. She has also visited all 32 states of Mexico!

Day 1
May 3, 2025

PUEBLA CITY

✈️ Arrival in Puebla

Flights are not included in this package. You should be in Puebla by the evening of May 3, 2025.

You will be picked up at the airport by our VIP drivers. They will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate holding a sign with your name.

The car type is a Sedan (Toyota Vios or similar).

🛏️ Hotel Check-in

Check-in the hotel. Our team will be in Puebla a day before so we can help you check-in.

🥳 Welcome Dinner Party

We will meet for dinner and drinks, get to know the group, and discuss how our Cinco de Mayo week will look like. Here, you can also ask questions from our tour managers.

PUEBLA CITY

BREAKFAST LUNCH

⛪ Puebla City Walking Tour with a local

Start the day by walking through the colorful streets of Puebla. Our local guide, Miguel, who lives in Puebla will show you the city!

🌮 Street food market tour

We will discover the street food scene of Puebla with Karla, a local Pueblan who will take us to the best markets. She will also introduce us to the local community.

🥳 Dinner and pre-Cinco de Mayo Party

On the evening of May 4th, we will roam the streets of Puebla with a local and check out the pre-party for Cindo de Mayo.

PUEBLA CITY CINCO DE MAYO FESTIVAL

BREAKFAST

🎊 Cinco de Mayo Parade

We will go to the center of Zocalo and celebrate Cinco de Mayo with locals. During this day, you are free to attend events, activities, and do everything on your own.

May 6, 2025

CHOLULA/Tonantzintla

BREAKFAST

🧭 Full-day Cholula and Tonantzintla

We will spend a day in Cholula and Tonantzintla, about an hour away from Puebla.

PUEBLA CITY

BREAKFAST LUNCH

👨‍🍳 Puebla Cuisine Cooking Class

We will go to a local home and learn how to cook Pueblan food! Our host, Margarita, will open her home for us and teach us how to cook the traditional chile en nogada.

🧑‍🎨 Artist Quarter (Barrio del Artista)

After cooking and eating, we will go to Puebla’s Artist Quarter and discover the local art scene and nightlife.

Atlixco/Atlimeyaya

BREAKFAST

🧭 Half-day Atlixco and Atlimeyaya

We will spend half day in Atlixco and Atlimeyaya.

✈️ End of Puebla Tour

Our tour ends in the evening where you can take a flight out to Mexico City or take the night bus.

Where we’ll stay

We will be staying in a 4-star hotel in the historic center of Puebla. The hotel has a gym, restaurant, rooftop views of the city, and a pool! This is a safe area in Puebla.
